Yes, we said Astroturf! We've recently overhauled our kennel yards with "Ultimate K9 Turf" to make our yards more plush and green than ever before! The yards are now more comfortable for your pup to play on and they don't have to fret over muddy paws ever again! As an added benefit, "Ultimate K9 Turf" has TenCate Blade (tm) technology for a cooler surface than regular grass yards.

Dutch Fork Animal Hospital is now offering Sunday pick-up between 5-6pm for those who request it. There will be an additional charge, so speak with a Dutch Fork Animal Hospital staff member for more information regarding cost as it varies. If you are interested in picking up your animal from the boarding facility on a Sunday, be sure to alert the receptionist when you schedule so that we can make a special note. We hope this makes vacationing more convienient for you and your family!

Is your cat tired of coming to the vet only to be surrounded by a bunch of dogs? Here at Dutch Fork Animal Hospital, we understand that not all cats like dogs and not all dogs like cats. So, how do we get around this to make sure your kitty is comfortable through their visit? We have dedicated a section of our lobby to our feline friends! No longer does your cat have to worry about a dog sniffing around his/her carrier. If you’ve been here before, you’ll remember our delightful fish tank on the right side of the lobby. Near the fish tank, behind the benches, there is a cut out just for cat carriers. You may place your carrier in this area to keep nosy dogs away and help put your kitty’s nerves at ease. Don't be afraid to bring your cat in for fear that they'll get anxious because of the dogs - Dutch Fork Animal Hospital is here to help!

View your pet's medical record and current vaccination report ONLINE with ePetHealth. Visit www.epethealth.com for more information. ePetHealth partners with veterinary hospitals to allow clients to view information on their own pets from the luxury of their own homes. You can view your pet's medical record, vaccination history report and so much more! If you are using our VetSource pharmacy to place medication orders, you can view the status of your orders from ePetHealth as well. Use your e-mail address that we have on file to "login"; ePetHealth will send you a confirmation message that allows you to choose your password and redirects you to the ePetHealth website so you can logon and explore. Once you login, you can read education articles, watch videos, and learn with an interactive dog. If you are unsure if we have your e-mail, or know we do not have your e-mail please contact us (by e-mail or calling us) so that we can put your e-mail into our system. ePetHealth recieves it's information directly from our computer system, so if your e-mail is not on file, you will be unable to use ePetHealth.

Pharmacies are now taking to the streets of the World Wide Web and it has since allowed pet owners to purchase medications for their pets from the comfort of their own home. Dutch Fork Animal Hospital has partnered with an on-line pharmacy, VetSource, which allows our clients to shop online for their prescriptions while having the knowledge of knowing their medications are coming through a veterinarian. With VetSource, you know that the products you recieve are genuine and they are chosen directly by the veterinarians right in our own hospital! Check out the icon on the home page or click here.

That's why we've recently invested in the latest laser therapy to provide an alternative solution to pain management. We, at Dutch Fork Animal Hospital, are committed to providing the best possible care for your pet. That is why we have developed multiple wellness bloodwork plans for your pet, at drastically reduced prices. These tests could provide valuable information on underlying problems with your pet that may not be visibly seen. Every patient, young or old, will benefit from annual blood work. Knowing how your pet's internal body functions is an important part of your pet's medical record as it screens for underlying health conditions. Even if your pet is of the best health, bloodwork gives the veterinarian a base line in the event that your pet gets sick. There are different types of panels to choose from, so ask your veterinarian which would be best for your pet.
